Phuket Exotic Party Series to celebrate 10 years

Organisers of Phuket Exotic Party Series are brimming with excitement ahead of its 10th anniversary, as the event is set to celebrate its anniversary at Sugarman's Beach, Portmore, St Catherine on November 30.

"This month, we're making history! Get ready for the most electrifying edition yet of the legendary Phuket Exotic Party Series, as we celebrate an epic 10-year milestone of unforgettable vibes, uninhibited freedom, and unparalleled Caribbean energy," said Winston Smith II, one of the event's promoters.

Themed the 'All White Masquerade Ball' edition, the event was initially scheduled for November 2 but was rescheduled due to the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa. Smith said that despite this setback, the event is in full gear for the next staging.

"The hurricane really threw everything off regarding the party. It ended up costing us quite a bit. We had to postpone the event, redesign all the flyers and banners and rebook the venue since so many details changed. A lot of people were affected, so we had to take some time to reorganise and make sure things could come back stronger and safer," he said.

Though he sympathised with the parishes and residents that have been adversely affected by the strong Category 5 hurricane which ravished the island on October 28, Smith noted that the Corporate Area remained largely unscathed.

"Consequently, we can anticipate that the event will proceed as planned without any significant disruptions. The favourable conditions in Kingston suggest that attendance and participation will not be adversely affected, allowing us to maintain our expectations for a successful turnout," Smith said.

The show promises a high-energy musical juggling from equipped deejays such as Little Richie, Mad Dawg, DJ React and Javvy Supreme. Smith said this event's staging will be "unprecedented".
