Xodus promises boldest road march yet
Xodus Carnival is shooting for the stars with its bold new theme, Campari Xodus OlympiX 2026 Qualifiers, officially unveiled at a dazzling launch inside the Sagicor Auditorium in New Kingston.
The band is promising nothing short of a revolution. CEO Pierre Goubault told the crowd that Xodus is stepping into a new era -- one defined by power, unity, and an unapologetic push to put Jamaica at the top of the global carnival stage.
"This theme is unlike anything we've ever done," he declared.
"Xodus OlympiX reimagines carnival through the spirit of sport, power, unity, excellence, and celebration. It was a risk, but it has translated into some of our strongest and most meaningful designs to date."
The 2026 season will be laser-focused on tapping into Spanish-speaking markets, attracting more international visitors, and delivering an elevated, world-class masquerader experience that pushes the limits of creativity.
"Our designs reflect all body types, all personalities, all levels of expression," Goubault added.
"We want every masquerader to open their costume box and feel a sense of pride, that their investment has transformed into something beautiful, powerful, and worth celebrating."
The 2026 season will feature an extended calendar, including the return of Xodus Wet which will take place in Ocho Rios during Easter Weekend, Lost in Paradise, Bacchanal J'ouvert, and the band's signature carnival events: Xodus Fete Gala, Xodus Tailgate, and Xodus Remedy.
These events are designed to energise the carnival community and build momentum leading into the road march.
"In the worldwide carnival space, Jamaica is ready to claim the number one spot," Goubault said.
"With the partnership, passion, and creativity of everyone here, we are on track to make Xodus Carnival 2026 the most extraordinary chapter in our history."
